You are called to serve!
As each has received a gift use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s manifold grace. 1 Peter 4:10
Jesus taught that spiritual maturity is never an end in itself. Maturity is for ministry! We grow up in order to give out. It is not enough to keep learning more and more. We must act on what we know and practice what we claim to believe. Impression without expression causes depression. Study without service leads to spiritual stagnation.
There’s an area of service waiting for you! What are you waiting for?
Each and every week God is changing lives at The Bridge. But did you know that the stories of life change are only possible because of the volunteers that give of their time and energy to help make The Bridge possible? On a weekly basis, volunteers are needed. Whether it is holding a baby so a mom can attend worship and hear a powerful message or being the smiling face that meets someone upon their arrival at church for the first time, you are needed?
Volunteering at The Bridge is one simple and rewarding way to use the gifts and talents God has uniquely given you.
What is volunteering?
Volunteering is not just about helping others. What you’ll find out when you volunteer is that serving others is also the best way to grow in your relationship with God. Jesus said He came to serve and not be served. Serving God is not optional. Serving God is an expression of and an outpouring of a heart and life surrendered to Christ. If you aren’t serving Him and serving others, why not?
